Riadh Fehri announces vibrant musical show in Carthage

Tunis, August 29, 2008–The director of the Sidi Bou Said music Academy and one of Tunisia’s most inspired lute players, Riadh Fehri will organize a unique concert dubbed “Awthar Tonik” on September 5, 2008 at the Carthage open- air, Roman theatre.

After the success of his “Minaret and towers”, “Kantara”, and “Winds 440″, Fehri’s forthcoming concert, will gather some 24 renowned artists from 11 nationalities. If the mystery concerning the names of the artists due to perform with him on the prestigious scene of the Carthage Roman theater, remains complete, Riadh Fehri has already pledged his commitment as well as that of the artists he has invited, to “a non- mercenary”/non commercial , form of music for which he remains well known.

No doubt that the show he has concocted for us on September 5, will mesmerize the audience who after breaking the Ramadhan fast, will appreciate what promises to be a very interesting musical moment.
