2010 African Cup of Nations: Tunisia to open against Zambia
TUNISIAONLINENEWS- The Tunisian football team will start its African Cup of Nations adventure on Wednesday as it opens against Zambia’s National Football.
Despite a break with the ACN qualifiers for the period 1957-1968 and disappointments from the first round of the final stages of 1978, 1986, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2006 and 2008, Zambia reached the final in 1974 and in 1994 in Tunisia when it lost against Nigeria.

In 1993, a tragedy befell the Zambian national football team. A plane carrying the team crashed off the coast of Gabon . 18 players were killed, along with the national coach.
