President Nicolas Sarkozy arives in Tunis for a three-day State visit
Tunis, April 28, 2008 (TunisiaOnline)--At the invitation of President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, the President of the French Republic , Mr. Nicholas Sarkozy accompanied by his spouse, Mrs. Carla Sarkozy, arrived on Monday in Tunis for State visit, from April 28 to 30, 2008.
President Ben Ali welcomed the French President at the Tunis Carthage presidential airport.
Later, President Sarkozy shook hands with personalities who came to welcome him, namely, the first vice president of the Democratic Constitutional Rally (RCD), the Prime Minister, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, the President of the Chamber of Advisors, members of the RCD's political bureau, members of the Government, as well as the Ambassadors of both countries.
President Ben Ali also greeted the members of the official delegation accompanying the French Head of State.
