French Ambassador retains “very positive image” of Tunisia
TUNISIAONLINENEWS- At the end of his mission in Tunisia , Mr Serge Degallaix, France’s Ambassador to Tunis invited on Saturday, the Tunisian and foreign press accredited in Tunis for a final “Iftar” dinner.
Mr Degallaix expressed his “immense pride and satisfaction” following his assignment in Tunisia adding that he retains a “very positive image” of Tunisia .

He also said that, as demonstrated by recent statistics, Tunisia is a country where the status of women is well advanced compared to other countries and which has managed to modernize while preserving its identity.
He further stressed the importance of dialogue for the understanding of the other, which he noted was the key of his relation with the press.
Addressing the journalists invited to the dinner, Mr Degallaix said that “Even though, we do not always share the same views, I wish to thank you for your readiness to listen during all these years”.
