2 nd automobile Rally “the Roads of the Sun” will showcase Tunisia 's natural beauty and cultural heritage
Tunis , March 28, 2008- (TunisiaOnline) --The second edition of the automobile Rally known as “the Roads of the Sun”,(les routes du soleil), is due to take place from May 1 to 13, 2008 . Tunisian, French, Italian and Spanish competitors will take part in the event which will gather 20 collection cars built between 1924 and 1928.
The Rally which is organized by the Tunisian National Automobile Club will cover some 1700 kilometres and will take competitors from Tabarka to Matmata and through many Tunisian villages and towns.
The event also carries a tourist dimension as it will enable participants as well the media reporting on the event to to discover Tunisia 's rich heritage.
