Microsoft supports Tunisian employment strategy
TUNISIAONLINENEWS- A cooperation agreement was signed on Wednesday in Tunis between the Tunis Federation of Social Solidarity and Microsoft Company.
Under the agreement, Microsoft will grant the federation a financial donation amounting to 85,000 dollars, so as to implement a training and guidance program for the certification of ICT skills.

40 university graduates in different scientific branches, mostly in software development , will benefit from this agreement.
These graduates will be tasked with the training of 1000 other university graduates and preparing for certification of skills delivered by Microsoft.
Mr. Mohamed Agrebi, the Minister of Vocational Training and Employment, pointed out that the convention falls in line with efforts to improve the employability of job seekers, namely among university graduates, and help them set up private projects in promising and innovating sectors, in implementation of the guidelines set by President Ben Ali’s 2009-2014 program.
