President Ben Ali chairs religious ceremony at Kairouan’s Great Mosque
TUNISIAONLINENEWS- President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali chaired, on Thursday, a religious ceremony at Kairouan’s Oqba Ibn Nafaa Mosque on the occasion of the celebration of the Mouled (Prophet’s birthday).
The religious ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Chamber of Advisors, the Mufti of the Republic, members of the Government, secretaries-general of political parties, heads of diplomatic missions from Islamic countries accredited in Tunis and guests of the event, “Kairouan, Capital of Islamic Culture”.
