President Ben Ali decides new RCD appointments
TUNISIAONLINENEWS- President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali received on Tuesday the Secretary General of the Democratic Constitutional Rally (RCD) Mohamed Ghariani who briefed him on the party’s activities notably the RCD’s regional summer universities and programs which are also attended by Tunisian expatriates.
President Ben Ali enquired about the RCD’s contribution to the solidarity drive and the intellectual and religious conferences scheduled during the month of Ramadan.
Following the meeting the RCD Secretary General announced that the President of the Republic had decided the following appointments :
- Mr. Faouzi Aouam as first deputy- secretary general in charge of structures,
- Mr. Mohamed Ben Abdallah, deputy -secretary general in charge of relations with the organisations and associations,
- Mr. Adel Jarboui, deputy secretary- general in charge of youth, education and culture,
- Mr. Mohamed Ali Jelassi, head of the department of structures and mobilization.
On the other hand, the President of the Republic decided the following reshuffle in the branches of general secretaries of the RCD coordination committees:
-Mr. Mohamed Jemaii as secretary general of the coordination committee of Bardo,
- Mr. Mohamed Nahali as secretary general of the coordination committee of Manouba,
- Mr. Mustapha Arfa as secretary general of the coordination committee of Sousse,
- Mr. Ridha Bokri as secretary general of the coordination committee of Kebili,
-Mr. Taoufik Hammas as secretary general of the coordination committee of Kairouan,
-Mr. Imededdine El-Gabsi as secretary general of the coordination committee of Médenine,
-Mr. Ahmed Karray as secretary general of the coordination committee of Sfax,
-Mr. Mahmoud Ghozzi as secretary general of the coordination committee of Béja,
-Mr. Mohamed Hédi Jabli as secretary general of the coordination committee of Sidi Bouzid,
-Mr. Mohsen Boumeiza as secretary general of the coordination committee of Zaghouan.
