Tunisia, South Korea eager to boost scientific cooperation
TUNISIAONLINENEWS- During a meeting held on Wednesday, Mr. Bechir Tekkari, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Chairman of South Korean Institute of Political and Technological Sciences Mr. Suk-Joon Kim, looked at ways to boost scientific and technological cooperation between both countries as well as increasing exchange of expertise in order to create new technological parks.
Accordingly, the focus was placed on scientific and technological policies in both countries, the role of technologies in achieving economic development, as well as the necessity to draw on South Korean experience in research and training.
The Secretary of State in charge of Scientific Research Mr. Rifaat Chaabouni, and the ambassador of South Korea in Tunis took part in the event.
