Tunisian judo champion wins silver medal in « Grand Slam de Paris »
TUNISIAONLINENEWS- The Tunisian athlete Nihel Chiekhrouhou won the silver medal (+78kg) in the mini-world championship of the “Grand Slam de Paris,” which was held on February 6 to7 at the Bercy Palace, in Paris, as part of the Tunisian team’s preparations for the 2010 tournaments including the world championships, and African championships.
Nihel Chiekhrouhou’s silver medal in the category is the best result of Tunisian women’s tournament in Paris and the second best Tunisian performance after the gold medal won by Anis Chedly in 2005.

In 2009, Nihel Cheikhrouhou (+78kg) was ranked 8ht among the best 10 players in the world following her victory in the African judo Championship.
For her part, Houda Miled, ranked 5th (-70-kg) in the same tournament.
