University of El Manar organizes 1 st edition of “Science Day”
TUNISIAONLINENEWS- The University of Tunis El Manar organizes from March 1 to 8, 2010 the first edition of “Science Days”.
The event is an opportunity to discover the different activities of the university its laboratories, research units, graduate schools, learned societies and socio-cultural clubs.
In addition to the fields in which the University of Tunis El Manar specializes in , the event will also focus on human and social sciences, biology, health, mathematics, science and technology, engineering, renewable energy and sustainable development.
Lectures, musical performances, sports demonstrations, fashion shows of Tunisian traditional dress, Arab and African film screenings, documentary are on the menu of the event, which has already started gathering a number of students and young people from all over the capital. The initiative is also expected to promote interdisciplinary studies, which are essential in today’s scientific world.
Founded in 2000, the University of Tunis El Manar is one of the main academic and scientific institutions of the country with a capacity of more than 45,000 students.
