Tunis, January 30, 2009- Up to December 2008 the number of Tunisian norms has reached 10,430, 95% of which are compliant with international and European standards, said Mr Ayman Mekki, the director general of the national institute of normalization and industrial property (INNORPI), during a press conference on Friday in Tunis.

Tunis, January 30, 2009- Tunisair will reduce the price of its fares by some 50 dinars, as of February 1, 2009. It also plans to lower the price of its “Early Purchase” tickets with the aim of selling some 20,000 additional tickets per year, said the company’s products central director, Mr Ali Miaoui. The offer concerns flights leaving from Tunis, he said.

Tunis, January 29, 2009- The volume of foreign investments in Tunisia increased from 2 billion dinars in 2007 to 3,1 billion dinars in 2008, said Mr Nouri Jouini, the Minister of Development and International Cooperation during a press conference in Tunis, on Thursday.
