Revenues from date exports exceeded 500 million dinars during the first four months of the 2025/2026 campaign, recording a 4.4% increase compared to the same period of the previous season (2024/2025).
The ‘Deglet Nour’ variety alone accounted for 85.7% of the total export volume, according to a note published this Friday, February 27, 2026, by the National Observatory of Agriculture.

As for the average price of dates, it stood at 6.50 dinars per kilogram, while the price for the ‘Deglet Nour’ variety reached 7.19 dinars per kilogram, marking a slight decline of 0.7% compared with the same period of the 2024/2025 campaign.
