According to the company’s activity indicators for the first half, Tunisair’s transport revenues increased by 2.2%, reaching 724 million dinars in the first quarter of 2026. The average revenue per passenger remained at the same level as during the same period in 2025.

In the first half, the number of passengers carried stood at 1,196,899, representing a 1% decrease compared with the same period in 2025, following the outbreak of the conflict in the Gulf region.

Moreover, the national airline reported a sharp rise in fuel expenses driven by the surge in Brent crude oil prices and the marked widening of the crack spread (the difference between the price of Brent and the price of Jet A-1 aviation kerosene) in the second quarter of 2026 (April to June), where the average price per ton of Jet A-1 almost doubled.

In the first half of 2026, the kilometre load factor stood at 74.0%, compared with 74.8% during the same period in 2025.

The average revenue per passenger, for its part, declined to 605 dinars, versus 613 dinars a year earlier.

On the other hand, the load factor improved, reaching 67.0%, versus 63.6% in the first half of 2025. Punctuality also recorded a notable improvement, its rate rising from 42.0% to 47.0%.

Moreover, during the second quarter of 2026, indebtedness increased, notably due to the establishment of new loans contracted in 2025 and at the beginning of 2026.
