Taxation: Five Key Deadlines to Remember in September 2026

Written by: Adel Khelifi on August 31, 2026

The September 2026 tax calendar, published by the General Directorate of Taxes under the Ministry of Finance, provides for five main deadlines regarding the filing of monthly declarations and declarations related to provisional installments.

The deadlines vary according to the nature of the taxpayer and the regime of declaration and payment to which they are subject.

15 September: Monthly declaration for individuals

September 15, 2026 constitutes the deadline for filing the monthly declaration for individuals.

The taxpayers concerned are thus urged to fulfill their tax obligations before this deadline expires.

21 September: Deadline for certain corporate entities

For corporate entities enrolled in the system of remote tax declaration and payment, the deadline for filing the monthly declaration has been set at September 21, 2026.

25 September: Second provisional installment for individuals

Individuals must also file their declaration relating to the second provisional installment no later than September 25, 2026.

28 September: Two deadlines for corporate entities

September 28, 2026 marks the deadline for filing the declaration relating to the second provisional installment for corporate entities.

This same date also constitutes the final deadline for filing the monthly declaration for corporations that are not subject to the remote declaration and payment system.

The General Directorate of Taxes calls for anticipating the procedures

These various deadlines are part of the periodic tax obligations that taxpayers must observe in accordance with the tax calendar, in order to avoid any delay that could lead to penalties or other tax proceedings.

The General Directorate of Taxes has clarified that the announced dates correspond to the “last day of the legal period” provided for filing tax declarations and therefore do not constitute the only days on which the procedures can be carried out.

It recommends that the concerned taxpayers file their declarations several days before the deadlines to avoid queues at the revenue offices as well as potential overloads of the IT system during the final hours.
