New figures revealed by the Center for Export Promotion (Cepex), on the occasion of the participation of 20 Tunisian companies in the international food and beverage fair “Saudi Food Show 2026”, show that trade exchanges between the two countries have undergone a notable evolution in 2025. Their volume rose from 964 million Tunisian dinars in 2024 to about 1,144 million Tunisian dinars in 2025, thus registering an increase of nearly 18.6%.
Saudi Arabia holds strategic importance as a major regional market and a key hub for import and re-export, thus offering growing opportunities to foreign companies, particularly in the food and beverage sector. The Kingdom constitutes an important trading partner for Tunisia in the Arab Gulf region.
Tunisian exports to the Kingdom recorded significant growth, rising from about 117 million dinars in 2024 to 276.2 million dinars in 2025, an increase of nearly 136%. This evolution reflects the increasing opportunities to access the Saudi market and confirms the promising potential it offers Tunisian companies, particularly in the agro-food industries and agricultural products.
These indicators reinforce the importance of Saudi Arabia as a strategic destination for Tunisian exports and as a regional platform allowing national companies to broaden their customer and partner base, strengthen the presence of their products on Gulf markets, and capitalize on the trade, investment, and re-export opportunities offered by the Saudi market.
Participation of Tunisia in this edition brings together 20 companies operating in the agro-food and agricultural products sectors, within a national pavilion of a surface area of 216 square meters. This space aims to raise awareness of Tunisian products and promote the national exportable offer to Saudi and international buyers, importers, and distributors.
