Honor Credit: Online Loan Applications Open on Banks’ Digital Platforms

Banks opened, as planned, at midnight on Thursday, October 1, 2026, the possibility of online deposits for requests for honor loans, a scheme established under Decree No. 148 of July 23, 2026 and Circular BCT No. 2026-08.

These requests are made exclusively online in accordance with the procedures set by the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) and through the dedicated digital platforms.

The granting of these loans is subject to review and acceptance of the client’s file, in accordance with the bank’s current conditions and subject to the availability of funds.

As a reminder, these loans will be granted at 0% interest, without guarantees, without any processing fees for the file and repayable up to 24 months with the option to choose a grace period not exceeding 6 months.

This scheme offers financing up to 5,000 dinars for individuals, 10,000 dinars for micro-project promoters, and up to 25,000 dinars for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and community enterprises.

A micro-project, within the meaning of this decree, is any project whose cumulative investment amount does not exceed one hundred fifty thousand (150,000) dinars including working capital.

And it is considered a small and medium economic enterprise within the meaning of this decree, any company whose investment amount including investment for creation and expansion ranges between one hundred fifty thousand (150,000) dinars and fifteen (15) million dinars including working capital.
