Industrial Modernization: Two Projects Approved for 63 Million Dinar Investment

The advisory committee of the Industry Upgrade Program approved, on Friday, October 2, 2026, the files of two industrial companies for a total investment of 63 million dinars, according to a statement from the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy.

The two involved companies operate in the manufacture of automotive and aerospace components as well as in metal packaging. The incentives granted to them amount to 9.5 million dinars, the ministry notes.

23 upgrading files approved

The committee also endorsed the work of the program’s restricted committee, which met on Wednesday, September 30, 2026. These pertain to 23 upgrading files, representing an investment cost of 82.3 million dinars and incentives of 11.6 million dinars.

Additionally, 57 dossiers of priority technological investments, with a total value of 3.17 million dinars, accompanied by incentives of 1.26 million dinars.

A meeting at the Ministry’s headquarters

The Friday meeting was chaired by the Chief of Staff of the Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy, Afef Chachi Tayari, in the presence of the Director General of the Industry Modernization Office, Boutheina Boukamcha.

Representatives from the Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA), from the Ministries of Finance, Economy and Planning, Trade and Export Development, Employment and Vocational Training, Social Affairs and Health, as well as representatives from the banking sector and ministry officials, took part.
