Artisans and artisanal exporting companies can benefit from support covering up to 50% of the transport cost of their products by the postal network, under the Easy Export program, a CEPEX official said on Tuesday.

This support is provided by the Export Promotion Fund. The support rates planned for advertising and promotional operations range between 50 and 70%, he said, Mohamed Amine Ben Maaouia, Deputy Head of Service at CEPEX. The Easy Export program benefits the crafts sector, but also agricultural products, agro-food industries and startups.

The official was speaking at a workshop dedicated to the mechanisms of the Fund for exporting artisan products, organized on the sidelines of the third edition of the professional crafts fair, held from October 5 to 11, 2026 at the Kram Exhibition Park.

Access Conditions and How It Works

To benefit from it, the company must be resident in Tunisia and its capital must be majority Tunisian. It must also justify its activity to the competent agency: the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation for industrial enterprises, or the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments for agricultural activities.

The interested artisan can contact the National Office of Craftsmanship or CEPEX. He is then registered in the Center’s database, a legal file is opened for him, and he is informed of the available support programs.

Easy Export allows the export of parcels weighing less than 30 kilograms. CEPEX responds to the Tunisian Post within a maximum of 48 hours to determine whether the company is eligible. Once eligibility is confirmed, it pays only half of the shipping cost, the other half being covered by the Export Promotion Fund through the Post.
