Swimming – Alps Open 2026: Hafnaoui Secures Another Gold, Ben Abbes Takes Bronze

The Alps Open continues in its seventh edition, bringing together several international swimmers, including the world champion and Tunisian Olympic champion Ahmed Hafnaoui and the French Clément Secchi, an Olympic medalist in Paris 2024 with the 4×100 m medley relay, and other medalists at the European U23 and Juniors Championships.

In addition to Hafnaoui, Tunisia is also represented by Mohamed Yassine Ben Abbes.

Hafnaoui took gold in the 400 m freestyle with a time of 3:43.49.

As for the second, he claimed bronze in the 400 m freestyle with a time of 3:51.03.

As a reminder, the two Tunisians will head to the 2026 World Short Course Championships, which will be held in Beijing, China from December 1 to 6, 2026.
