The National Water Supply and Distribution Company (SONEDE) announced disruptions and outages in the supply of potable water this Sunday, October 18, 2026, starting at noon, in several areas of the Nabeul and Grombalia governorates.

These disruptions are due to repair works for a leak that occurred on a main water-supply pipeline with a diameter of 800 millimetres.

In a press release, SONEDE specified that the affected zones are notably Seltane, Fondouk Jedid, Al-Masratiya, Touita and Turki, as well as the environs of the station within the Grombalia delegation. The disruptions will also affect Bir Bouregba, in the Hammamet delegation, the Hills neighborhood, in the Dar Chaâbane El Fehri delegation, as well as the Fondouk Jedid Military Academy.

The company added that its technical services are currently assessing the interventions necessary to repair the fault. The duration of the works and the provisional schedule for the gradual restoration of water distribution will be communicated later.
