The Tunis Stock Exchange closed Friday’s session, October 23, 2026, in the red. The Tunindex fell 0.58%, to 18,410.05 points, while 38 stocks declined against 15 advances.

For the week, the index retreated 1.23%, after closing at 18,638.99 points on Friday, October 16. Trading in equities was limited to 3.93 million dinars.

A negative week, but the annual gain remains intact

The Tunindex20 finished the session at 8,064.69 points (-0.57%). Despite the weekly decline, the Tunindex has risen 36.88% since the start of the year. The market capitalization of the main market stands at 45.376 billion dinars, down 0.53% on the day.

The overall picture shows a clear predominance of declines: 38 stocks down, 15 up and 13 unchanged, along with seven unlisted stocks and two suspended securities.

3.93 million dinars traded on equities

The main market recorded 1,477 transactions covering 453,123 shares, for 3,927,239 dinars. No block trade was executed. The 24.57 million dinars of registration operations, accounted for separately, explain most of the 28.50 million dinars of capital traded in the session’s overall statistics: they should not be equated with share trades on the main market.
