Arab Security Cooperation: Tunisia Strengthens Coordination with the Council of Arab Interior Ministers

The Interior Minister, Khaled Nouri, received, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at the ministry’s headquarters, the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, Dr. Mohamed Ben Ali Koman.

According to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior, the meeting was devoted to consultations on several questions and files of common interest.

Discussions on topics of common interest

The meeting allowed the two parties to exchange views on several questions within the cooperation domains between the Tunisian Ministry of the Interior and the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.

The discussions also addressed ways to strengthen coordination between the two structures.

Strengthening cooperation between the two parties

The two officials stressed the importance of strengthening the cooperation already established between the Ministry of the Interior and the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.

This cooperation aims, in particular, to contribute to the success of the various events and activities organized within the framework of the Council.
