The Official Journal No. 33, published this Friday, issued Decree No. 42 of the year 2026, dated March 27, 2026, concerning the convening of voters registered in the Kabaria-Tunis electoral district for a partial legislative election, scheduled for Sunday, June 28, 2026, following the death of a deputy from the Assembly of the People’s Representatives.

The decree states that “the voters registered in the Kabaria-Tunis electoral district are convened for the partial legislative election on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.”

This decree follows the decision of the Bureau of the Assembly of the People’s Representatives, meeting on March 26 of the current month, noting the definitive vacancy of a seat within the Assembly for this constituency, following a death.

The Parliament had announced, on March 9 of the current month, the death of Salah Mbarki, the deputy from the Assembly of the People’s Representatives for the Kabaria constituency, in the Tunis Governorate.
