Civil Protection units carried out 584 interventions over the last 24 hours, between 06:00 on Monday and 06:00 on Tuesday, according to a statement issued by the Civil Protection spokesperson.
Among these interventions, 148 involved road rescue and relief operations.
128 fire-suppression operations
According to the same source, the interventions are divided between 128 fire-suppression operations and 293 rescue operations not related to road traffic accidents.
The Civil Protection units also conducted 148 rescue and relief interventions on the roads.
Interventions on beaches and other operations
The report also notes 13 interventions on beaches, in addition to two interventions in other areas.
These figures reflect the intensity of the daily activity of Civil Protection units, mobilized on several fronts, including fires, medical aid, road accidents and interventions in coastal environments.
