The Interior Minister, Khaled Nouri, and the Minister of National Defense, Khaled Sehili, presided on Saturday, March 7, 2026, in Ben Guerdane, over the official ceremonies marking the tenth anniversary of the Ben Guerdane epic.
The official parade took place in the presence of several regional officials from the Medenine Governorate, as well as members of the Assembly of the Representatives of the People and the National Council of Regions and Districts. Representatives of civil society, the families of the martyrs and the wounded of this epic, as well as many residents of the region, also took part in the ceremony.
This commemoration aims to honor the memory of the Ben Guerdane epic, during which the inhabitants of the region, alongside the security forces and the army, wrote a bright page in defending the homeland and in the fight against terrorism.
