According to the sports daily L’Équipe, Stéphane Hatot, the former head of Olympic culture since October 2025, “is selling online and under a pseudonym relics from Paris 2024 obtained for free or at cut-rate prices during the Olympic Games.”

The French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) has “taken note” on Monday, April 13, of the resignation of one of its vice-presidents, Stéphane Hatot, after the publication in L’Équipe of an investigation into the resale of objects from the Paris 2024 Games.

Stéphane Hatot is also the president of the French Federation of Strength (arm wrestling, bench press, bodybuilding, powerlifting…).

In a statement transmitted on Monday, April 13 to several media outlets, the Olympic committee “takes note of the resignation of Stéphane Hatot from all of his functions within the committee, following the revelations of the newspaper L’Équipe on the resale of collectible items from the Paris 2024 Games, which brought to CNOSF’s attention conduct particularly problematic on his part.”
