The criminal chamber of the Court of First Instance in Tunis yesterday sentenced two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, to ten years’ imprisonment.
The two minors violently attacked their friend inside an abandoned building in the Tunis Marine area, before attempting to hang him.
The defendants were charged with attempted murder with premeditation, kidnapping of a minor by deceit, and an extremely violent assault, in accordance with Articles 59, 201, 202, 227 and 237 of the Penal Code.
