Key performance indicators:

Enhancing long-term shareholder value through sustainable and profitable growth:

Income statement results: Net profit for the nine months ended 30 September 2026 stood at QAR 13.3 billion, up 4% from the same period a year earlier. This performance reflects the strength of the QNB Group’s financial results.

The Group’s results for the nine months ended 30 September 2026 were also affected by the persistence of hyperinflation in Turkey; net profit before hyperinflation impact reached QAR 16.4 billion, up 8% from the same period last year.

Operating income rose 8% to reach QAR 36 billion, reflecting the QNB Group’s ability to maintain strong and sustainable growth across its diverse revenue streams.

The Group’s operational efficiency (measured by the cost-to-income ratio) stood at 24.3%, one of the best ratios among major financial institutions in the Middle East and Africa region.

Balance sheet growth drivers: Total assets reached QAR 1,464 billion as of 30 September 2026, up 5% from the same period last year.

This progression was mainly driven by customer loans and advances, which rose 6% to reach QAR 1,061 billion. The diversification of deposits also contributed to the rise in customer deposits, which reached QAR 979 billion as of 30 September 2026, up 2% from the same period last year.

Credit portfolio quality: The non-performing loan (NPL) ratio as a share of the gross loan portfolio stood at 2.7% as of 30 September 2026, one of the lowest rates among MEA region financial institutions. This level reflects the high quality of the Group’s credit portfolio and the effectiveness of its credit risk management policy.

The loan loss coverage ratio stood at 97%, reflecting the continued prudent approach the Group takes toward doubtful debts.

Regulatory ratios: The capital adequacy ratio (CAR) stood at 19.7% as of 30 September 2026. The liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) and the net stable funding ratio (NSFR) stood at 145% and 108% respectively. These ratios exceed the regulatory minimum requirements of the Qatar Central Bank and the Basel III framework.

Support for client financing and growth of activities

During the third quarter, the QNB Group supported client financing and participated in international transactions in the sectors of infrastructure and commercial activities.

Its international teams participated in financing related to artificial intelligence infrastructures, cloud computing, fiber optic networks, and real estate in Asia and Europe.

Moreover, QNB Capital acted as global coordinator for the State of Qatar’s international bond issue, priced in September. All these activities reflect the Group’s broadened capabilities in credit and capital markets, as well as its ability to connect clients with international sources of financing.

In Qatar, the Group also strengthened its relations with companies serving the energy sector through the second edition of the forum “Supporting Local Businesses for SMEs.”

On this occasion, suppliers, service providers, and SMEs met with QNB’s relationship managers and sector specialists to discuss financial readiness, supply chain efficiency, and emerging opportunities arising from sector evolution.

This initiative created an effective channel for exchanging insights to better understand business needs and strengthen relationships with the various players in the local economy.

Financing, liquidity, and shareholder returns

During the quarter, QNB Türkiye completed a delivered-pension operation (“blue repo”), establishing a financing structure dedicated to protecting water resources in Turkey.

This operation broadened the Bank’s range of sustainable financing instruments beyond bond issuances to include treasury instruments, while providing reporting and independent verification mechanisms for the use of funds.

At the Group level, growth in customer deposits, together with strong capitalization and liquidity ratios mentioned earlier, form a solid basis to support credit and investment activities.

Furthermore, QNB continues its objective of optimizing returns for shareholders through its share buyback program.

Since the launch of this program, the total number of repurchased shares has reached 149.4 million shares, at a total cost of QAR 2.5 billion.

Resilience in a changing environment

Since the end of February 2026, the Gulf Cooperation Council region has experienced a period of instability affecting major maritime routes and energy supply lines.

Thanks to the robustness of its operating model, the strength of its institutional framework, and ongoing investments in digital capabilities, the QNB Group has continued to ensure its clients reliable, secure, and uninterrupted access to its services.

Overall, the banking sector has demonstrated strong resilience, supporting the maintenance of a stable operating environment. Leading credit ratings

The Group’s credit rating remains solid.

The bank is the best rated in Qatar and ranks among the best-rated banks in the world, with Aa2 from Moody’s, A+ from Standard & Poor’s, and A+ from Fitch.

These ratings reflect the strength of our capital base, the robustness of our risk management, the efficiency of our operating model, and our rigorous governance approach.

They give us a competitive advantage in accessing international capital markets and enable us to pursue our growth and expansion plans in line with our strategy.

The Group’s solid track record of performance, supported by its excellent credit ratings, is a key factor in encouraging individuals, businesses, and institutions to work with the Bank. These ratings also reinforce investor and global market confidence in the QNB Group, its positioning, and its long-term strategy.

Sustainable financing and brand strength

Aligned with the global ambition to reach carbon neutrality by 2050, QNB continues its commitment to sustainable financing by supporting its clients through dialogue, collaboration, and the development of sustainable financing and transition financing solutions.

The Bank’s eligible portfolio under its sustainable financing program now exceeds USD 12 billion.

The Group also publishes its reports in accordance with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and ISSB disclosure requirements, including IFRS S1 and IFRS S2, thereby enhancing the transparency of its sustainability activities and performance.

Furthermore, QNB has maintained its position as the most valuable banking brand in the Middle East and Africa according to Brand Finance’s ranking, with a brand value of USD 10.3 billion.

The Bank thus ranks 36th globally among the world’s 50 most valuable banking brands.

This distinction reflects the robustness of QNB’s model and its ability to serve a diversified client base through its international network.

The Brand Strength Index (BSI) of QNB remained high at 86 points.

QNB Group’s strategic vision

For the remainder of 2026, the QNB Group will continue its strategy focused on sustainable growth of its earnings, further strengthening its relationships with its clients and developing the services and capabilities that support their needs.

The Group’s financial strength and its international presence provide a robust platform to seize new business opportunities.

This strategy relies on disciplined capital allocation, while maintaining emphasis on operating efficiency and the creation of sustainable returns for shareholders.
