The Ministry of Social Affairs announced the opening of an external dossier-based competition for the recruitment of six (6) medical inspectors of labor for the year 2026, pursuant to an order issued by the Minister of Social Affairs dated June 26, 2026, published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Tunisia.
This competition aims to strengthen the Labor Inspection Corps with specialized medical personnel, in order to consolidate the missions of monitoring working conditions, health and safety at work, as well as the prevention of occupational risks in the various establishments.
According to the order, applications will open as of August 31, 2026, while the number of posts opened for recruitment has been fixed at six.
The order also provides that the list of candidates admitted to participate in the competition will be closed on July 30, 2026, with the application procedures to be finalized in accordance with the conditions and modalities provided by the order organizing the competition.
The opening of this competition is in line with the application of the provisions of the General Statute of State employees, local authorities and administrative public establishments, as well as the special statute governing the Labor Inspection Corps and the order setting the modalities for organizing external dossier-based competitions for the recruitment of medical inspectors of labor.
These recruitments should contribute to strengthening the specialized human resources within the Ministry of Social Affairs, notably in the areas of labor inspection, health and safety at work, in order to reinforce the monitoring of the application of labor legislation and the protection of workers’ health in the various economic sectors.
