After a long series of successive increases, the Tunindex index recorded a drop of 6.9% during the week of July 20-24, 2026 to stand at 20,847.19 points, thereby, as a result, carrying its year-to-date performance to 55.00%.
The past week was marked by a sustained trading pace as turnover totaled 70.5 million dinars (MD), i.e., an average daily amount of 14.1 MD. The Tunis Stock Exchange saw during the week a block transaction involving 30,212 BIAT shares at a unit price of 170 dinars (D), i.e., a total amount of 5.1 MD.
Performance of the stocks
The UIB stock delivered the best performance of the week. The share rose 15.31% to 36.900 dinars (D). The stock attracted a net inflow of 0.756 MD over the week. The TUNIS RE note showed a gain of 8.71% at 14.350 D, with a volume of 0.268 MD.
The STB stock posted the largest decline of the week. The share fell 12.31% to 6.200 D. The stock traded to the extent of 0.922 MD over the past week. The ENNAKL stock was among the week’s biggest losers. The share fell 8.48% to 20.300 D. The stock mobilized modest weekly trading of 0.061 MD.
BNA BANK was the most dynamic stock of the week, attracting 12.3 MD of capital while recording a weekly decline of 6.14% to close at 26.280 D. The AMEN BANK share continued, like the previous week, to attract substantial trading volumes totaling 7.8 MD while narrowing a decline of 4.85% to 94.200 MD.

SMART TUNISIA – Revenues realized during the second quarter 2025 rose by 7% to reach 117,339 thousand dinars. The financial charges incurred during the second quarter 2026 amount to 5,135 thousand dinars.
Financial income rose by 7% to reach 3,194 thousand dinars while net cash stood at – 10 036 thousand dinars as of 30 June 2026 versus -3 250 thousand dinars as of 30 June 2025.
The changes in financial charges and net cash are in line with the growth in activity. The payroll for the second quarter 2026 amounts to 3 123 thousand dinars.
BT – According to activity indicators, customer loans (net of provisions) reached 6,588,142 thousand dinars as of 30/06/2026, against 6,009,216 thousand dinars as of 30/06/2025, i.e., an increase of 578,926 thousand dinars (+9.6%).
Customer deposits are up by (+0.3%), rising from 6,788,271 thousand dinars as of 30/06/2025 to 6,807,267 thousand dinars as of 30/06/2026, an increase of 18,996 thousand dinars.
Net Banking Income reached, at the end of the second quarter 2026, an amount of 292,079 thousand dinars, compared with 261,150 thousand dinars at the end of the second quarter 2025, i.e., an increase of +11.8% (+30,929 thousand dinars) while operating expenses rose by +7% to reach 91,772 thousand dinars as of 30/06/2026 versus 85,760 thousand dinars as of 30/06/2025.
SAH LILAS – As of 30 June 2026, cumulative net sales are estimated at 236.1 MD, i.e., a growth of 5.1% compared with the 2025 fiscal year. Sales in the second quarter 2026 reached 124.7 MD, i.e., growth of 2.4% compared with Q2 2025. The cumulative local turnover stood at 192.4 MD, roughly in line with the second half of 2025 (-0.4%).
Export sales accumulated reached 43.7 MD vs 31.6 MD on 30 June 2025, i.e., a growth of 38.4%. As of 30 June 2026, the group’s consolidated net revenues reached 498.1 MD versus 472.2 MD at the end of June 2025, i.e., additional revenue of 25.9 MD and an increase of 5.5%.
