The remote tax information center, under the General Directorate of Taxes of the Ministry of Finance, received more than 22,000 telephone calls from the beginning of the year to the end of September 2026, with a satisfaction rate exceeding 91%.
According to the center’s statistical data, 22,048 calls were recorded in the first nine months of the year. They covered 26,748 questions, some calls containing more than one question.
The service usage is notably up: the number of calls received rose by 25.15% compared with the year 2025.
Nearly 2,500 calls in September
For the sole month of September 2026, the center processed 2,475 calls, which gave rise to 2,987 questions. The immediate response rate reached 99.9% and the satisfaction rate with the provided answers stood at 91.1%.
Individuals accounted for the largest share of the month’s inquiries (54.9%), versus 45.1% for legal entities.
The TEJ platform leads in inquiries
By theme, questions relating to the TEJ platform come in first place (17.07%), ahead of those concerning administrative procedures (11.15%) and income tax (9.74%).
By sector of activity, service activities dominate (23.51%), followed by non-commercial activities (14.65%) and commercial activities (8.11%).
