The General Directorate of Taxes reminded that Monday, July 20, 2026 constitutes the final legal deadline for the filing of the monthly tax declaration by legal entities enrolled in the teledeclaration and telepayment system for taxes.
This deadline is listed in the July 2026 tax calendar published by the tax administration.
Respect the deadlines to avoid penalties
The General Directorate of Taxes stressed the importance of meeting this deadline to avoid the legal and financial consequences associated with late tax declarations.
The concerned legal entities are thus urged to complete their declaration and payment procedures within the regulatory deadlines.
A deadline, not a single day for filing
The tax administration has clarified that July 20 corresponds to the last day of the legal deadline and not to the sole day on which the declaration can be submitted.
It therefore recommends to taxpayers to carry out their procedures before the deadline expires to avoid heavy pressure on the computer system as well as the crowds usually observed in the last days.
An extension if the deadline falls on a Sunday or a public holiday
The General Directorate of Taxes also recalled that when the final filing deadline for a tax declaration coincides with a Sunday or a public holiday, the taxpayer may submit their declaration on the first working day following.
In such a case, no late filing penalty is applied.
The concerned legal entities
This deadline concerns legal entities registered in the teledeclaration and telepayment system, which must respect the tax calendar set by the administration.
Using online services notably allows filing tax declarations and making payments due remotely.
