The Commission for Strategic Planning, Sustainable Development, Transport, Infrastructure and Territorial Planning will hold, on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 09:30, a session devoted to examining two legislative files related to territorial planning and the investment framework.
A hearing on constructions in agricultural zones
The commission will proceed with the hearing of the initiator of the bill concerning the adoption of exceptional measures for the regularization of buildings and projects carried out in agricultural zones with transformed use.
This text, registered under number 101/2025, concerns a file at the crossroads of land, agricultural and urban planning issues. It aims to examine the conditions for regularizing certain existing situations, while taking into account the imperatives of protecting agricultural land and the needs of local development.
The reform of the investment law on the agenda
The commission will also continue the examination of the bill proposing modification and supplementation to Law No. 71 of 2016, dated September 30, 2016, relating to the investment law.
This text, registered under number 26/2024, is part of the debates on improving the business climate and adapting the legal framework for investment to current economic requirements.
Texts with economic and territorial scope
The two proposed laws submitted to the commission carry particular importance, as they touch on issues related to territorial planning, the use of agricultural zones, the dynamics of investment, and sustainable development.
The work of this session should allow progress in examining texts likely to impact spatial organization, the regularization of certain land tenure situations, and the consolidation of the investment environment in Tunisia.
