Market Overview
As in the previous session, the stock market closed the session on a negative note. The benchmark index recorded on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 a decline of 1.01% to 21,040.09 points, in a turnover of 21.8 million dinars (MD) with no block trades.
Stock performance
The TUNIS RE stock posted the best performance of the session. It rose by 4.35% to 14.390 dinars (D), in a turnover of 173 thousand dinars. While attracting capital of 261 thousand dinars, the TLS share advanced 3.51% to 43.990 D.
The ATB share was the worst performer on the TUNINDEX. With a turnover of 499 thousand dinars, the stock fell 5.37% to 3.880 D. The STA value did not perform well on the market during the session, sliding 5.00% to 95.000 D. The stock traded to the extent of 72 thousand dinars during the session.
BNA was the most traded stock of the session. The share fell 3.44% to 25.820 D, while attracting turnover of around 8.0 MD.

STA – In the first half of 2026, the company registered 1,805 vehicles, compared with 1,566 vehicles in the first half of 2025, representing an increase of 15.26%. Revenues reached 90.613 MD as of 30 June 2026, against 73.558 MD in the same period of 2025, marking a rise of 23.19%.
Cost of consumed purchases rose to 77.342 MD on 30 June 2026, compared with 64.685 MD a year earlier, reflecting an increase of 19.57%, in line with the growth of activity.
Net cash totaled 44.634 MD in the first half of 2026 against -16.795 MTND in the first half of 2025. Taking into account the provisions of the BCT circular no. 2026-4 of 26 March 2026, the STA company proceeded to block funds of 48.358 MD to secure the opening of letters of credit. The adjusted net cash would be -3.723 MD.
