CARTHAGE CEMENT – Shareholders gathered for the annual general meeting on June 24 approved the distribution of a dividend of 65 millimes per share for the 2025 financial year. The ex-dividend date was set for August 10, 2026. This marks the company’s first dividend distribution, which closed the past year with a profit of 40.1 MD.
It recorded total revenue of 382.8 MD in 2025, against 421.6 MD in 2024, a decrease of 9.2%, mainly due to the decline in cement sales volumes on the local market by 19% offset in part by a 73% increase in exported volumes.
According to the projections presented to shareholders, management expects a profit of 55 MD this year, then 63 MD by 2028.
