Tunis Stock Exchange: Tunindex Falls 0.93%

The Tunindex index closed Friday’s session in the red, down 0.93%, at 19,423.28 points, in a trading volume of 6 million dinars, according to the stockbroker Tunisie Valeurs.

The stock of the Tunisian Wholesale Markets Company (SOTUMAG) registered the strongest gain of the session, advancing by 5% to close at 21,000 dinars, with trades around 174 thousand dinars.

The share of the Modern Ceramic Company (SOMOCER) also rose 3.2%, ending the session at 0.640 dinars, with a trading volume not exceeding 6 thousand dinars.

Conversely, the Tunisian-Saudi Real Estate Company (SITS) share fell 4.5% to settle at 4,490 dinars, in very limited trades, below 1,000 dinars.

The decline also affected Attijari Bank, whose share lost 3.4% to close at 83,100 dinars, with transactions around 394 thousand dinars.

For its part, Amen Bank continued its advance and recorded the session’s highest trading volume, with nearly 884 thousand dinars traded. The stock closed at 91,150 dinars, up 0.9%.
