The Tunisian Embassy in India participated in the activities of the Summit “Impact of Artificial Intelligence 2026”, held recently in the Indian capital, New Delhi, with the participation of several heads of state and government.

According to a post by the embassy on Facebook, the summit aims to develop a common roadmap for the governance of artificial intelligence at the international level, and to strengthen cooperation in order to put its technologies at the service of humanity, to stimulate inclusive growth and to promote social development, while supporting innovations centered on humans and concerned with protecting the planet.

The summit also aims to make the voice of the Global South heard, in order to ensure a more equitable distribution of technological progress and the opportunities associated with it.

Bringing together nearly 250,000 participants, including representatives of major global technology companies specializing in AI, international organizations, investors, innovators and researchers, the meeting highlighted three main axes: the human, the planet and progress. The debates focused on the future of artificial intelligence as well as its economic and regulatory implications at the international level.

Furthermore, the summit served as a platform to strengthen multilateral initiatives, propose new priorities and develop operational cooperation frameworks, enabling the transition from high-level political statements to concrete impact and real advances on the path of global cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence.
