The Health, Women’s Affairs, Family Affairs, Social Affairs and Persons with Disabilities Committee will hold, this Thursday 23 July 2026, a hearing session devoted to the difficulties faced by the aesthetic medicine sector in Tunisia.
The session is due to begin at 10:00 a.m. and will bring together the members of the parliamentary committee as well as representatives of the Tunisian Union of Aesthetic Medicine Doctors.
Professionals called to present the sector’s problems
This hearing will allow representatives of the union to present the main issues faced by doctors practicing in the field of aesthetic medicine.
The discussions should notably focus on the professional, regulatory, and organizational difficulties that affect the activity of the sector in Tunisia.
Towards better governance of aesthetic medicine
The meeting could also provide an opportunity to examine the professionals’ proposals aimed at better framing the practice of aesthetic medicine, improving working conditions, and strengthening the quality and safety of the services offered to patients.
This session is part of the work of the Health Commission, responsible for studying files related to the health sector as well as social and family issues.
