The Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries published, on its official Facebook page, a nominative list of veterinarians belonging to the public and private sectors, made available to citizens across all governorates of the country.
This initiative comes within the framework of sanitary oversight related to Eid al-Adha, a period during which citizens are urged to exercise vigilance when handling and consuming the meat of sacrifices.
A guidance system across all regions
The veterinarians listed on this list will be tasked with answering citizens’ questions and providing them with the necessary advice, especially in case of doubt about the state of the meat after slaughter.
The system covers all governorates of the Republic, with the participation of veterinarians from both the public and private sectors, in order to bring sanitary assistance closer to citizens.
Advice in case of unusual signs
The ministry specifies that citizens may seek the veterinarians’ assistance when they notice changes or unusual signs in the meat of the sacrifices.
This approach aims to strengthen prevention, to prevent health risks, and to ensure better handling of situations that may raise concerns about the safety of the meat.
A measure to reinforce sanitary safety
Through this action, the ministry intends to support citizens during the Eid al-Adha period and promote good sanitary practices related to the sacrifices.
