The former player of Olympique de Béja and Tunisian under-21 international, Ilyes Dhaoui, confirmed, in an exclusive interview granted to Tunisie Numérique, that he has officially signed a three-year contract with AS Saint-Étienne, a club playing in the French second division.
Dhaoui said he was proud to take this new step in his career, highlighting that Olympique de Béja, his formative club, had greatly contributed to his journey and to his arrival at this level. He expressed thanks to the club’s management, to the various technical staffs, to the coaches, as well as to the supporters who have supported and accompanied him throughout his career.
The Tunisian player confirmed that his new experience will now take place outside Tunisia, stating that he will continue to work seriously in order to progress and to give his best at the next stage of his career.
Ilyes Dhaoui also specified that he would officially begin training with AS Saint-Étienne next Tuesday, thereby opening a new chapter in his professional career with the ambition to establish himself and to shine on the French pitches.
