The Ministry of Communications Technologies today unveiled the eight (08) startups selected to join the Tunisian official delegation to participate in WEB SUMMIT LISBON 2026, which will be held from November 9 to 12, 2026.

The selected startups are Infinite, Screenflex, Proverdy, Smoft, Bionic Soul, Offensy.Lab, Proovlab, and PayDay.

Participation in Web Summit Lisbon 2026 aims in particular to enhance the Tunisian innovation ecosystem at an international level, promote Tunisian startups with strong growth potential, accelerate the internationalization of Tunisian startups, and position Tunisia as an attractive destination for innovation and technological investment.

As a reminder, among the selection criteria for startups is to be Tunisian by nationality, legally constituted and labeled. The startup must be an independent company and aged under five (05) years.

To be selected, the startup must develop an innovative product (a proprietary software, a proprietary technology platform, a proprietary SaaS solution, or a proprietary connected hardware solution).  This product must be launched on the market, fully functional, and have an operational website.

The selected startups were evaluated according to the following criteria and weightings:

  • Technological innovation (25%),
  • Product maturity level (15%)
  • Commercial traction (customers, revenue, users, growth…): 20%
  • Internationalization potential (15%)
  • Quality of the founding team (10%)
  • Ability to represent Tunisia at the Web Summit  (10%)
  • Quality of the pitch and development strategy  (5%).

Note that the official participation in the Web Summit offers the selected startups three (03) passes to Web Summit Lisbon 2026. These passes grant access to the four days of the summit, to the conferences, to the exhibition spaces and to networking events (Night Summit).
