The Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA-Tunisia) announced that its director-general, Jalel Tebib, received on Monday, February 16, 2026, a delegation of major investors from several nationalities — Arab, Chinese, Indian, German, American and African — led by Jamel Al-Qasmi, a Tunisian expatriate and president of the Africa International Business Group, accompanied by Nizar El-Ganzouri, president of the Tunisian Association “Vision and New Horizons”.

“This exploratory visit to Tunisia is part of identifying investment opportunities and examining the major projects proposed in the country,” notes FIPA-Tunisia.

In the same context, Jalel Tebib presented a detailed briefing on the climate and investment opportunities in Tunisia, as well as on the country’s comparative advantages as an investment destination in various domains, and the promising prospects in the priority sectors, notably mechanical and electronic industries, automotive and aerospace components, as well as textiles, among others.

Representatives from the Tunisian Trade Office also provided an overview of the project for a free zone dedicated to commercial and logistics activities in Ben Guerdane.

The foreign delegation’s program also extended until Thursday, February 18, 2026. Among its main steps were on-site visits, according to the interests of the delegation members, as well as meetings with the relevant specialized bodies and Tunisian businesspeople.
