Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Ahmed Slim Bouakez, cofounder of the startup, explains that this initiative emerged from a shared observation in several regions of the world, notably in North Africa, the Middle East, and southern Europe, where pressure on water resources continues to intensify.
At the heart of this innovation is a system of intelligent sensors capable of monitoring water consumption in real time. These devices are coupled with connected meters that incorporate cameras, enabling the collection of visual data analyzed by image processing technologies.
Thanks to this approach, users can access an interactive dashboard offering a precise reading of their consumption. The system also enables the generation of detailed reports, the rapid detection of anomalies such as leaks or overconsumption, and, via artificial intelligence, personalized recommendations to optimize water use.
By combining data, artificial intelligence, and connected technologies, this Tunisian solution is part of a dynamic approach to sustainable management of water resources, at a time when water-related challenges are becoming critical on a global scale.
