The Tunisian National Olympic Committee announced that Tunisia will participate with 42 athletes in the fourth edition of the Youth Olympic Games, which will take place in the Senegalese capital Dakar, from October 31 to November 13, 2026.
The Tunisian delegation will be composed of 25 boys and 17 girls, engaged in 16 disciplines, at an edition that will bring together 2,700 athletes from different countries around the world.

- Taekwondo (4): 2 boys and 2 girls
- Swimming (4): 2 boys and 2 girls
- Shooting (2): 1 boy and 1 girl

- Fencing (1): 1 boy
- Artistic gymnastics (2): 1 boy and 1 girl
- Boxing (1): 1 girl
- Judo (1): 1 girl
- Wushu (1): 1 girl
- Table tennis (2): 1 boy and 1 girl
- Beach handball (10): 10 boys
- Beach volleyball (2): 2 girls
- Rowing (2): 1 boy and 1 girl

The Youth Olympic Games constitute a space of competition among young athletes from around the world, with the aim of achieving high-level performances. They also represent an important step in the programs of various national Olympic committees to prepare their young athletes for future global and Olympic milestones.
The Olympic flame will be welcomed on September 12 in the Senegalese capital, during festivities in African colors and ceremonies highlighting Senegal’s culture as well as its commitment to Olympic values.
This historic moment will mark the start of the flame relay of “Dakar 2026”, which will travel through the 14 regions of Senegal before reaching the opening ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games, scheduled for October 31.
