Tunis Stock Exchange: Tunindex Continues to Fall

Market Overview

As in the two previous days, the stock market closed the session on a negative note. The benchmark index registered, Thursday 26 March 2026, a decline of 0.15% to 15,488.40 points.

In the absence of block transactions, the day was marked by a brisk pace of trading, amounting to 15.5 million dinars (MD).

Stock Performance

The SOTUVER stock posted the best performance of the session. The share jumped 6% to 17.510 D, in a robust turnover of 2.2 MD. The TELNET stock stood out among the session’s best performers. The share advanced 5.9% to 6.990 D. It gathered modest trades of 413 thousand dinars during the session.

The AIR LIQUIDE stock finished as the session’s laggard on the TUNINDEX. The price fell 4.5% to 173.810 D. The stock traded only 7 thousand dinars during the session. The BNA stock was among the session’s biggest decliners. Due to selling pressure, the share dropped 3.8% to 15.380 D. The security saw relatively solid volume of 1.3 MD, keeping the market active.

The SFBT stock topped the session’s turnover. The share ended essentially flat (-0.08%) at 13.240 D, while fueling the market with 2.8 MD of capital, i.e., 18% of the index’s flow

BIAT – The board of directors, meeting on March 25, 2026, approved the standalone and consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2025. These financial statements, submitted to the statutory auditors, show a standalone net result of 385.3 MD, compared with 357.8 MD for the previous year, and a consolidated net result of 467.1 MD, compared with 379.4 MD in the previous year.

The board decided to convene an ordinary general meeting, which will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 10:00 at the headquarters. It will propose to the ordinary general assembly, pending approval by the Central Bank of Tunisia, the distribution of a dividend of 6,000 dinars per share for the 2025 financial year.
