TSB: Encouraging First Operational Turnaround Marks 2025 Results

Written by: Adel Khelifi on July 29, 2026

The Tunisian-Saudi Bank (TSB) publishes its financial indicators for the 2025 financial year, which reflect the bank’s resilience and highlight the early signs of an encouraging operational turning point.

These positive developments are part of the rigorous implementation of the strategic plan undertaken, in a challenging economic and financial environment.

Although the 2025 financial year still ends with a net loss, the bank’s financial trajectory shows a favorable inflection, notably marked by a significant 28% improvement in net income, a notable 34% increase in Net Banking Income (PNB), as well as a positive evolution of the cost-to-income ratio, reflecting the efforts undertaken to improve operational efficiency.

Moreover, customer resources recorded an increase of 101 million dinars, reflecting strengthened client confidence in the bank. The liquidity ratio remains, however, in line with regulatory requirements, confirming the bank’s ability to preserve its financial balances.

These operational performances illustrate the relevance of the strategic plan adopted in 2025 and pursued in 2026.

This plan is built around two priority axes: on the one hand, strengthening internal controls and risk management systems to ensure a more rigorous steering of activities;

on the other hand, continuing the cleanup actions of the loan portfolio, accompanied by the strengthening of collection capabilities, with the aim of progressively improving asset quality.

In parallel, 2026 is marked by a significant evolution of the bank’s governance, aimed at supporting this new momentum and backing the implementation of the strategic directions determined.

TSB thus continues its efforts to consolidate financial solidity, progressively restore profitability, sustainably improve its operational performance, and strengthen its ability to accompany its clients through financing solutions tailored to their needs.

The bank also reiterates that the capital increase operation, approved by the shareholders, remains a major strategic priority.

This operation benefits from renewed support from strategic shareholders, who reaffirm their commitment to accompany the bank in its transformation and development process.

Buoyed by these initial encouraging results, TSB reaffirms its commitment to its clientele, to its partners and to all of its employees.

It continues with determination its mission to support the national economy and works to lay the foundations of sustainable and lasting growth.
