The Ministry of Agriculture, Hydraulic Resources and Fisheries indicated that the disbursement of incentives related to approved investment projects is carried out through the National Agricultural Bank or the Tunisian Solidarity Bank, after the completion of approval procedures and the issuance of payment orders. It called project holders to contact the relevant banking institution in order to finalize the disbursement of incentives as soon as possible.

In a response to a written question from the deputy to the Assembly of the Representatives of the People, Taher Ben Mansour, regarding the disbursement of incentives related to projects approved by the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments, the ministry stated that the granting of financial incentives is carried out within the framework of the Investment Act and its implementing texts.

It added that the files of investors operating in the sectors of agriculture, fishing and aquaculture are handled by the competent services of the Ministry of Agriculture, either at the level of the regional commissions for agricultural development, or by the Agency for the Promotion of Agricultural Investments, before being submitted to the Commission for the Granting of Benefits, responsible for deciding on the allocation or not of the incentive.
