During the restricted ministerial council held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at the government palace in the Kasbah, the Minister of Finance, Michket Slama Khaldi, presented a detailed briefing on the execution of the State budget for the year 2026, the main orientations of the State budget project for 2027, as well as the hypotheses related to the national economic conjuncture and the evolution of the global economic environment.
According to the presidency of the government, the Minister of Finance highlighted, at the end of her intervention, the resilience of the national economy and the significant gains achieved despite the intensification of financial pressures and the rise of uncertainties at the international level.
She also indicated that this project rests on policies aimed at strengthening the solidity of public finances and to promote equitable and balanced development.
