The Minister of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly, Asma Jabri, announced, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, the launch of the national digital platform for marketing products of women and girls.
This new platform aims to strengthen the presence of women’s products in the digital space, to facilitate women’s access to markets and services, and to support the creation of a national-scale economic dynamic.
A platform born from a collaborative effort
The launch ceremony took place in the presence of Yassine Feriaa, Chief Executive Officer of the Tunisian Post, Leïla Messalti, Director General of the National Office of Handicrafts, Nabil Assaf, representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Tunisia, as well as Leïla Rajhi, representative of Expertise France.
The members of the steering committee responsible for the implementation of the national digital platform also took part in the event.
Asma Jabri indicated that the creation of this platform reflects the commitment to supporting the marketing of products of women and girls in the digital space and improving their access to markets.
She stressed that the project is the result of participatory work involving different governmental structures at the national and regional levels, notably in the technological, communications and logistics fields.
Criteria to select and guarantee product quality
The minister also praised the work carried out by the central and regional commissions created within the framework of the project.
These commissions were notably tasked with identifying beneficiaries, defining the criteria for product selection, ensuring their quality and organizing their collection.
The work also covered the various technical and IT steps related to the design of the platform, with the objective of facilitating its access and use.
Awareness-raising and outreach actions have moreover been conducted regionally for the benefit of women and girls registered on the platform.
The Tunisian Post in charge of payment and delivery
For its part, the Chief Executive Officer of the Tunisian Post highlighted the importance of the partnership with the Ministry of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly in promoting women’s products.
He specified that the Tunisian Post’s intervention will revolve around two main axes: payment and collection services, as well as delivery and logistics services.
This system must support the operation of the platform and facilitate remote purchasing operations.
A new showcase for artisans
The Director General of the National Office of Handicrafts, for her part, stated that this platform represents an opportunity to better enhance and market the products of Tunisian women artisans.
It should notably benefit women who work from home by allowing them to increase the visibility and added value of their creations.
According to her, this nationally participatory mechanism should enable artisans to promote their products on the Tunisian market, before a possible opening to international markets in a second phase.
Two partnership agreements signed
The ceremony was also marked by the signing of two partnership agreements between the Ministry of Family, Women, Children and the Elderly, the Tunisian Post and the National Office of Handicrafts.
These agreements are part of the cooperation aimed at establishing an innovative digital system offering artisans a secure and structured space to promote and market their products.
The mechanism should also foster the exchange of experiences and strengthen economic and social cooperation around the platform.
Products from all regions available online
The platform is accessible at the address:
www.raidet-store.tn
It allows consumers to remotely purchase a selection of Tunisian products crafted by women in different regions of the country.
The offering covers several sectors, notably crafts, agriculture, decoration and clothing, as well as other products presented as being of high quality.
